If you are headed down to 30A, South Walton, or anywhere in Santa Rosa Beach or Sandestin, there are a few places you must visit during your stay. I thought I would highlight a few of my favorites…
In the mood for a steak? Cafe Tango is a quaint spot with flawless 28 day dry aged steaks prepared five different ways. The father and son team Joe and Andrew Morris will make you feel like you’ve been a regular for years even if it’s your first visit. Borago boasts amazing Italian inspired dishes with a cozy outside dining area that is screened in and pleasant year round. You can’t miss one of the oldest restaurants around in famous Seaside, Bud and Alley’s, a great stop for a sunset drink and the best tuna dip in town! It is one of the only spots to dine on the water along 30A. Looking for a great happy hour deal then look no further than Wine Wold in Watercolor. During happy hour, which is 11-6 every day, you can get a glass of wine for the price of a carafe! Pair your wine with a cheese plate you design yourself from their unparalleled international cheese shop. Across the street is the upscale Fish out of Water with an ever evolving modern menu and some of the most seasoned staff in the area guaranteeing impeccable service! For some wild and wacky atmosphere don’t miss the Red Bar in Grayton Beach. Whether it is for Sunday Brunch with the local favorite band Dread Clampitt or for a fun entertaining dinner it is well worth the wait. A little further down the road is the uber upscale Caliza at Alys Beach. A fabulous fine dining experience around the beautiful Alys Beach pool. At the opposite end of the “A” is a popular seafood eatery called Stinky’s Fish Camp. Despite its funky name, the place is always packed proving their numerous seafood dishes are tough to beat!
So come visit our beautiful Emerald Coast and enjoy one or all of these popular eateries along scenic 30A! Here is a list of all restaurants in South Walton to choose from.
